The box-culvert is a self-supporting underground structure with a hollow rectangular cross-section, built using two U-shaped components.
Each box-culvert is designed according to the static and dynamic loads it must withstand, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, such as hydraulic, agricultural, road, ecological, or pedestrian crossings, as well as technical galleries or water retention basins.
The structural extremities of the box-culvert can be completed using wing walls, made from prefabricated reinforced concrete panels with in-situ cast footings.
